More likely, he is drawn to women as a result of the popular “Friend of All Living Creatures” trope, for in all the original films, the Creature demonstrates a protectiveness for the film’s female protagonist, and in most films, only the female characters treat him with any compassion, whereas in his second film the male protagonist uses an electric prod to torture him.
