Our “Don’t Mess with Texas” series showcases some of the iconic things that make Texas so special.  The third of the series is the Bluebonnet, the State flower.

The Lupinus Texensic and Lupinus Subcarnosis (species of bluebonnets) only grow in Texas. Texas is known for its bluebonnets and even though it’s not the only place in the United States where they can be found it is the only place you’ll find both the Lupinus Texensic and Lupinus Subcarnosis species.

  • Contains 1 Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver
  • Obverse:  Bluebonnet, the state flower of Texas
  • Reverse: The common reverse for the series, with the skull of a longhorn centered, an oak branch to the right and an olive branch to the left.  An outline of the state of Text on the forehead of the skull.  “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS” around the lower circumference, with the hallmark at 6 o’clock.
