    Description

    Franklin half dollars were struck from 1948 through 1963 and are one of the shorter-lived series of the 20th century. Designed by John R. Sinnock, the half dollar bearing one of America’s most famous and beloved Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin, is no doubt a popular coin.

    • Contains 2 oz. Troy of .999 Fine Silver
    • Obverse: Benjamin Franklin facing right, with “LIBERTY” above, and “IN GOD WE TRUST” below.  Date to the right of his neck.
    • Reverse:  Liberty Bell centered, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above, E PLURIBUS UNUM to the left, and an eagle on the right, and “TWO TROY OUNCES” below, with the hallmark across the lower circumference.
