    Inspired by the online enthusiasts and collectors of all things silver, this Macrodontia Cervicornis (Giant Longhorn Beetle) is rendered in ultra-high relief and embellished with micro engraved details mimicking the nature of this insect. Struck in the smaller 39mm format, as opposed to our 50mm, this art medal in 2 ounces creates a dramatic tactile experience as a pronounced heavy round.       As a rule, I love the 39X 2oz rounds.

      Since most would view purchase of these specific items more along the lines of collecting…than stacking, Limited Mintages/Intaglio should place these in their own protective capsules…particularly the hard to fit 2oz rounds. Or, at the very least sell them on the site, as an optional add on. The Greek Mythology 2oz rounds with their unique edges are a case in point.
