    The scene depicted is from Book I of “A Collection of Emblems,” by George Wither. The book was both written and illustrated by the author in 1635.

    “As, to the World I naked came, So, naked-stripped I leave the same.”

     

    • Contains: 2 oz. Troy .999 Fine Silver
    • Obverse: Mountains in the distance, with a tranquil sea and island at center, flanked by two sail boats.  The shore in the foreground scattered with worldly belongings, and a naked man ascending to the heavens, clouds behind, sun and moon on either side.
    • Reverse: An eagle with wings spread  centered with a crown above and holding a flowing ribbon with the talons on a circular background of a diamond pattern.  “500 Total Mintage” below eagle. LIMITED MINTAGE ™ across the top circumference, and MINT CLUB ™ across the bottom circumference.
      “TOTAL MINTAGE 500” on the upper rounded dentil circumference, and hallmark text “TWO TROY OUNCES .999 FINE SILVER” on the lower rounded dentil circumference.

      Haven’t gotten my coin yet I’m sure it will not disappoint. wish shipping was faster though we’re paying exuberant shipping costs 9.45 via USPS Priority Mail and this is taking 4-5 days to arrive. Why can’t these be shipped cheaper I’m paying for priority which should be 1-3 days max! Yet its taking 4-5+ days to receive just wish there was a cheaper option I don’t mind waiting 1 week + but I just don’t see the point of paying for priority when I’m getting parcel post service here.

      Received coin today 2-17-22. So much more beautiful in hand. And this is my first 50mm coin. The size is impressive. So much bigger than the 39mm coins. If you Mint Club members have and second thoughts about buying this coin don’t. I think you will be pleased.

      This is amazing! I like pieces that make me think and this is one I’m sure to enjoy for decades. I like it so much that my only problem is finding a big enough capsule so I can handle this guilt free! Well done! Keep making big ones!

      Oh and whoever designed the reverse knows what they are doing. It’s a work of art, on its own.

      Anyone have a capsule suggestion? Tried this one from APMEX but the coin is slightly too big tried forcing it to shut and cracked the capsule. You’d think we could get a capsule with these premium coins since we’re paying a huge premium already but whatever.

      The round is gorgeous, but it comes in a brittle flip which cracked, and its large size means now I have to go hunting for a capsule.

      Neat- I like the larger size 50mm. Does not fit in a normal 50mm capsule. You will need a Y-50 Air-tite. black ring capsule. I absolutely hate the more you spend the higher the shipping goes. The only thing I don’t like about this website.
